A Miss England finalist from Kettering was crowned Miss Popularity when she appeared in the grand finals of the event.
Jade Willis reached the finals of the prestigious competition – held in Southport from July 19 to 21 – after she was crowned Miss Derbyshire earlier this year.
She was one of 49 finalists whittled down from an initial 20,000 entries.
All the ladies competing took part in a public vote to see who could gain the most votes and become Miss Popularity 2016.
The contestants were tasked with gaining the most publicity along with help from family, friends and the community.
Jade tallied more than 4,000 votes and took the title of Miss Popularity 2016, which meant she finished in the top 20 of the competition overall.
She has reclines returned from Disneyland Tokyo, where she has been working and performing for almost a year.
This year’s Miss England winner was 20-year-old psychology student Elizabeth Grant, from Preston.
