Impressive results show half of Abbeyfield School pupils taking home an A-level A grade in maths

Half the students on Abbeyfield School's A-level maths course are celebrating an A grade or above today after the school announced an impressive set of results.

Head teacher Claire Morrell, said the school has continued a recent improvement trend witthis year’s figures.

She said: “We are delighted with this year’s A-level results as we have again seen significant improvements continuing the trend of recent years, and reflecting the fact that Ofsted judged the sixth form as ‘Good’.

“Highlights include maths results where half the students achieved A* or A grades and chemistry where all students achieved A*- B grades. “Unsurprisingly this has led to many of our students reading these subjects at university.

“We have been thrilled to have been able to support our students on this leg of their academic journey and we are very excited by the great futures that await them.”
