The grounds of fruit and vegetable nursery in Northamptonshire is set to play host to a host of “horror mazes” as part of an award winning adult theme night this Halloween.

Tickets are set to go on sale for the Dr. Fright’s Halloween Nights event at White’s Nurseries showground in Earls Barton, from September 1.

But even hardened scare-lovers have been warned the event is not for the faint hearted.

The two week series of themed evenings will see the grounds transformed into four new “horror mazes” in marquees, featuring live actors and gory special effects.

Event organiser Robert Gray, said: “We are very excited to announce our biggest event yet.”

This year we’re pulling out all the stops to make it our most terrifying and immersive ever.”

This year will be the sixth Dr Fright’s Hallowe’en Nights at Earls Barton. The event won the horror industry ‘Scar’ award this year for “Best Halloween Scream Park,” beating Thorpe Park and Alton Towers to the prize.

The interactive evenings require guests to walk through a series of horror attractions on varying themes.

Along the trail punters encounter special effects, lighting effects, loud sound effects and live actors all geared to making people “jump, scream and laugh” the company says.

The year the theme of the event is “American Nightmares,” which is to run from October 16 to October 31.

Tickets, ranging from £15.95 to £19.95, will go on sale on September 1.
