Hunsbury Hill Fort Friemds invitefamilies to discover history at open weekend

A Northampton country park which welcomed more than 100 families to a summer scavenger hunt is now inviting people to their open weekend.

Throughout August Hunsbury Hill Country Park volunteers used National Lottery funding to run the free event.

Mavis Wilmshurst, Chair of The Friends of West Hunsbury Parks group, said: “Families hunted for natural items and facts about the Iron Age Hill Fort to win a prize.”
