A teenage girl dressed as a chicken was punched in the face outside a 99p Store by a boy while she was working to promote a town centre restaurant.
The attack happened on Sunday, October 27, between 3.10pm and 3.40pm, in Gold Street, Northampton, police today revealed.
The 17-year-old girl was working for Pepe’s Piri Piri, a chicken restaurant in Gold Street.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police: “She was standing outside the 99p Store when a boy approached her from the direction of Sol Central and punched her in the face.
“He made off towards the town centre.”
The attacker was white, about 14-years-old, 5ft 3in, with a slim build.
He wore a blue hooded top with white stripes on the sleeves and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Police think he was with another boy who was riding a BMX bike.
