Les McKeown, lead singer of the 1970s hit Scottish band, The Bay City Rollers will be performing the band’s best known classics for one night only in Northamptonshire in September.
The 58-year-old, who fronted the band during their most successful period in the mid to late 70s, will perform with his current group at the The Core at Corby Cube, in Corby, on Thursday, September 18, when he will bring the audience a night of nostalgia and fun from the band’s heyday.
The Bay City Rollers first hit the radios in 1964 and soon became a soundtrack for the generation’s teens around the world.
Recognised for always wearing their trademark Scottish tartan, they made musical fame with tracks such as Bye Bye Baby, Shang A Lang, Summer Love Sensation and Give A Little Love.
Now, with years of experience and reflaction under his belt, Mr McKeown will be leading the band again as they take the audience through the band’s history of touring and tv shows, both on and off stage,
