Flower displays destroyed in Far Cotton vandalism attack

A set of communal flower displays donated by a Northampton residents’ association were left “torn apart” after a vandal attack, police say.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses after nine floral displays were damaged by in Far Cotton, Northampton, over the bank holiday weekend.

The damage was caused sometime between 5pm on Friday 28 and 8am on Saturday August, in Towcester Road, Rothersthorpe Road and St Leonards Road.

The displays, which had been donated by the local residents’ association, had been “torn apart,” a police spokesperson said and the boxes damaged.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
