Wenger: I want 'someone special' in January transfer window
Arsene Wenger today admitted that he is looking to strengthen his Arsenal squad in the January transfer window.
But the Gunners boss insists that developing his current crop of players is still the primary ambition.
Wenger says he is on the look-out for "something special" to add to his squad but said he is no closer to finding it yet.
"I cannot say something will happen, but you never know," he said.
"It is feasible that we can do it and sometimes a player can give some extra belief to the squad.
"If it appears we can make something special, then we will do it.
"But at the moment I can sincerely say we have not seen anything special that can really convince us we will be much stronger.
"At the moment, I am more (keen] to develop the team we have. When you look at our players, most of them are under-21 and there is a lot to come from them."
