Tows outclassed the Bedford Blues Academy to win the 12-a-side championship with a display of open, running rugby that produced six tries, with a further three disallowed.
Tows took the lead after 15 minutes when turnover ball from a ruck on halfway was spun wide where full-back Rob Honeysett broke the line to send centre Marc Yeates down the wing and he outpaced the defence over 40m to touch down in the corner.
Five minutes later Tows sent the ball through eight pairs of hands and three phases of play to put fly-half Austin Wheldon over.
The final try of the half came when another Bedford throw was stolen and prop Tim Toft eventually crashed over for the first of his three tries.
The continuous pressure led to many Bedford handling errors, and five minutes into the second half Tows were awarded a 5m scrum and Toft went over for his second.
A superb four phase passage saw the ball moved to each wing twice, leaving the defence so stretched that Toft completed his hat-trick under the posts unopposed. Tows sixth try came when Wheldon who placed his kick to the corner with perfection for wing Jamie King to collect the ball on the full and touch down.
At the Tows end of season dinner Dan Banks was presented with the most Improved Player of the year award. The Player of the Year was Lee Spackman and the Players Player of the Year was Steve Martin. The Frank Folwell Clubman of the Year Award went to Arthur Prestidge. Mark Yeates was the Colts Players Player of the year, John Atherton was the Most Improved Player and the Colts Captain, Andy Morris was the Player of the year.

A HAT-TRICK from Bradley Hever-George secured Scouts victory in their last game of the season.
Towcester took control of the first half, but were constantly denied a try but Scouts, who won all the scrums as their forwards dominated.
But Scouts’ couldn’t capitalise and the half ended 0-0. A series of substitutions turned the game in Scouts’ favour with Harry Owens putting Scouts ahead with a try. Hever-George then ran in his three tries, with Owens converting two of them.
