Shoe Town is Show Town
Actors classical and modern rehearse scenes in the centre of Northampton in this amusing short.
The storyline follows two friends who unwittingly get caught up in a television rehearsals for the long running Abington Street programme.
The directed yells at them to act but they simply want to pass through.
As they walk along Northampton's high street they stumble across a series of characters and bewildering situations based on classic television shows and films.
The film was made by actor Benji Dotan and Phillip Leggett, a digital media student at The University of Northampton.
