Martin King's Sports Betting: Back four or more goals as United beat Bolton

Manchester United have endured a mixed start to the season, but I've a feeling it will kick-start into life this weekend.

Without doubt this is the perfect opposition for United as they bid to get back to winning ways, while for Bolton this is the worst possible time to visit the defending champions.

Sir Alex Ferguson watched his side come within 10 minutes of ending Chelsea's long unbeaten home run last Sunday as they were forced to settle for a heated 1-1 draw but their performance did more than suggest they've turned the corner after a slow start to the season.

Bolton on the other hand have looked devoid of ideas since their opening-day 3-1 win over Stoke and their recent record at Old Trafford is ominous to say the least.

They've lost each of their last five visits there, conceding 16 goals and scoring just two.

Backing four goals or more at 2/1 with bet365 is my selection here.

Brighton good value

Brighton are Coca-Cola League One's away day specialists and they look good value at 21/10 (bet365) to maintain their unbeaten run against the Cobblers at Sixfields tomorrow.

The firm make Town 13/10, while the draw should attract a bit of interest at 23/10.

Karl Hawley stands out at 7/1 in bet365's first goalscorer market. Adebayo Akinfenwa is the 6/1 favourite.

Big four to dominate Carling Cup

It's looking good for the 'big four' in the Carling Cup and the bookies expect the dominance to continue.

William Hill offer 2/1 that both finalists will come from Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, 6/5 that one will reach the final and 2/1 that none of that quartet will make it to Wembley.

Chelsea are the favourites and my pick to win the trophy.

The Blues are just 5/2 with Sky Bet, but it's hardly surprising after Luiz Felipe Scolari showed he means business in the competition.

The manager fielded a strong team for their 4-0 win over Portsmouth on Wednesday and it's tough to see who will stop them.

Manchester United put out a decent side and are second favourites with pretty much every firm at 4/1.

Liverpool and Arsenal are 5/1, while Tottenham are 9/1.

50/1 on Saints to win Grand Final

Northampton Saints fans still on a high from last Saturday's victory over champions Wasps can still back their team at 50/1 (Betfred) to do the unlikely and win this season's Guinness Premiership Grand Final.

Northampton go to Saracens this Sunday and are 3/1 with bet365 to win it. Sarries, who trounced Newcastle last weekend, are 1/4 favourites.

Meanwhile, the bookies are expecting Wasps (9/4) to lose four games on the spin when they go to Leicester (4/9).
