Hellenic all right, Jack,
Hellenic Gretton made certain of taking the Under-16 title with a 7-1 victory at depleted Aztec.
Jack O’Bierne’s first-minute goal settled them down with two more arriving before the break and a fourth within a minute of the restart.
O’Beirne added his second and Lee Genner also netted twice, with Dean Clark, Kieran Doherty and Callum Morrison supplying the others. Mark Freeman was on target for Aztec.
Richard Moore notched a hat-trick in the first ten minutes to set up a 12-0 home win for Castle Rise in Under-15 Division One against a Phoenix side who never gave up.
He later added another and keeper John Handyside’s spell on pitch saw him net twice, one of which was a 30-yarder, with the others coming from Nikki Young, Gareth Cliffe, Neil Woolmer, Ben Smith, Gary Parke and David Martin, who hit the target after Ryan Hill’s run had seen him beat several players.
Mid-table Rushden and Danesholme shared the points and four goals, thanks to doubles for their respective sides by Rangers’ David Butler and Kyle Hughes for Viking.
Champions Hellenic retained their ten-point lead in Under-12 Division One with a 4-1 home win over Higham.
Paul Malone, with a double, Matthew Egan and Ciaran Finan were their marksmen, Daniel Smith replying for Colts.
Oakley Lodge look favourites to take runners-up spot after their 4-2 success over visitors Grange as their nearest rivals tasted defeat.
Despite missing key players, good performances by new keeper Adam McDade and Jordan Middleton – in an unaccustomed midfield role – saw Lodge take a 2-0 lead.
United hit back to level through Liam Varenkesh and Simon Mitchell either side of half-time, but Oakley proved stronger as the game wore on. Their goals came from Mark Kelly, Aaron Dixon, David Clark and Ronnie Stewart.
Weekley are five points behind with a game in hand as, earlier in the week, Grange built up a 4-0 lead in the opening ten minutes, thanks to Mitchell, with a double, Varenkesh and an own goal.
Rovers rallied but could muster only strikes by Joe Underwood and Wayne Brown in reply.
Ise Lodge’s chance has gone following their 3-1 defeat at Kingswood, where Iain Blaikie hit a double and Jordan Marshall a single. Liam Hanley replied for the visitors.
Danesholme completed their Division Two programme with an unblemished record by winning 4-2 at Finedon.
A fairly even first half saw Vikings sharper in front of goal, a Tim Reid double giving them an interval lead.
Reid added two more after the break, the visitors also missing a penalty, before Vics retaliated with Danesholme depleted by injury.
The impressive Matthew Tyler orchestrated the Vics response that brought goals for Jake Burgess and Tyron Goodes, from the penalty spot.
Aztec went down 3-1 at Westfield where Jake Hughes put Rovers ahead, a fine solo goal by Andrew Jones bringing the visitors level.
Westfield took control after the break, goals by prolific scorers Kier Lawrie and Sean Hamblin giving them the points.
Earlier Lawrie, with a hat-trick, and Hamblin had been on target in a 5-2 defeat of Earls Barton, Robert Hall adding the other. Liam Swane’s double counted for the visitors.
Thrapston completed a double over Hearts, an entertaining and evenly-contested game seeing Chris Meadway netting in each half.
With Michael White and Ben Allington in fine form, Town restricted Hearts to Mark Bussey’s reply a minute from time.
Johnny Woods completed his first-ever hat-trick in Burton Band’s 5-1 success at Eagles. He went on to add a fourth and Paul Doy was also on target, Eagles’ response coming from Tom Brett.
