Delighted Body eases to victory at Bedford

STEVE BODY defied the hot conditions and strolled to glory in the third East Midlands Grand Prix of the summer at Bedford on Tuesday night.

McKay, who is training hard for the World Duathlon Championships, tracked Body for five miles before fading.

Sharon Morris followed up Body's success by winning the ladies race for the hosts in 34mins 51secs.
