'˜Enough is enough' says troubled Northampton football club after vandals wreck clubhouse
Last night, the clubhouse at Northampton Spencer was broken into again and wrecked by yobs.
Earlier this month, the Chronicle & Echo reported that chairman Graham Wrighting was stepping down and feared that if no-one came forward to run the club it would be closed at the end of the season.

“From an attempt to flood the bar, pulling the roof tiles down, ruining the kitchen, smashing as many windows as they could and more.
“We cannot believe that someone would do this to a club which has nearly 80 years of history and is due to close it’s doors at the end of the season.
“You, understandably, will be extremely shocked to see the damage. However, this is the fifth break in we have had in the past 2 weeks. We decided to keep quiet about the wreckage and move on, but enough is enough.

“If anyone has any information about this, or knows who is doing it, was ask that you please come forward. Can everyone please share this far and wide in hope that this stops now.
“Words truly escape us and we hope that we can end the season in one piece.”
If anyone has information about the raids, call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
