Year 13 students at Caroline Chisholm School are celebrating the schools best ever sixth form results.
The school has improved its performance in virtually every headline performance indicator at A level, with 54 per cent of entries at A*-B and 81 per cent entries at A*-C, which are well above 2016 national figures and previous results for the school.
Principal David James: “We have had a very positive morning with our students with lots of smiling faces and some tears of joy. The vast majority of our students have managed to obtain places in their first choice university.
“We expect that by the end of the morning, all of our students who want to continue into higher education would have been successful in securing a degree of their choice.
“We are very proud of the success of our students which is due to both their hard work, the hard work of our staff and the tireless support of their parents.”
