D-Day commemoration in Northampton church
A 65th anniversary D-Day celebration concert to commemorate the actions of allied forces in the liberation of Europe during the Second World War will be held in a Northampton church on Saturday June 13.
The 40s nostalgia night, featuring performances by the Royal Air Force Wyton Area Voluntary Band, as well as a patriotic sing-along, will be held at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Sheep Street, starting at 7.30pm.
Admission will be 10. Tickets can be bought by calling Northampton 754782, or more information can be found at www.stseps.org.
