A woman has been mauled by two dogs while walking on Northampton’s Racecourse, police said today.

The attack happened at about 4pm on Saturday when the 21-year-old victim was walking through the park when she was attacked by two dogs that were not on their leads.

She suffered injuries including teeth indentations and scratches.

Police said the dogs were described as ‘hounds’ and were white and tanned in colour, with long noses.

The owner of the dogs was described as an Eastern European man, aged in his late twenties to early thirties with brown hair and blonde highlights.

Anyone with information can call Police on 101 or, alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
