Two Lakeland Terriers were stolen from a house in Boughton, police have revealed, after one was later found in a park in Northampton.
The theft happened on Thursday morning, and while one dog was later recovered, the other remains missing.
A police spokesman said: “Two Lakeland Terriers were stolen from a house in Spring Lane, Boughton.
“One of the terriers was later found in Victoria Park, Northampton, but the other dog remains missing.
“The theft took place between 9.30am and 11am on Thursday 10 October.
“The dogs were taken from a kennel and run next door to the house.
“Someone walked through the front gate to the house, unbolted the door to the kennel and run and stole the dogs.”
