Thief stole jewellery after breaking into house in Weston Favell, Northampton

Jewellery has been stolen from a house in Northampton by a man who fled the scene by jumping over a series of garden fences.

The house in Edgemont Road, Weston Favell, was broken into sometime between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Thursday, April 3.

After searching the house, the man took a number of pieces of jewellery. He then jumped over a number of garden fences to escape.

He is described as black, under 6ft and with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black cap and grey trousers.

Witnesses, or anyone with any information, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
