Teenager robbed and punched in the face as he walked along road in Abington

A teenager has his bag stolen and was punched in the face during a robbery in Northampton.

The 15-year-old boy was walking along Broadway East in Abington when a man walking towards him demanded cash and punched him in the face. The man then stole the victim’s bag.

The offender is described as black and about 20-years-old. He was wearing a black Nike tracksuit with the hood up and was carrying a small black over-the-shoulder bag. He was wearing a black glove on his right hand and had a black bandana tied around his right wrist.

The incident happened on Wednesday April 9 between 9.30pm and 10pm.
