Police have seized a number of ‘ceremonial knives’ as well as a digital camera containing images of a pig farmer, following a raid in Northamptonshire.
The items were recovered on Tuesday following a search warrant in Hampden Crescent, Kettering, and detectives are now appealing for the victims of what they believe are a series of burglaries to come forward if the items belong to them.
As well as the four ceremonial knives, the recovered items include:
A silver metal Nixon watch
A ‘police’ watch with white and silver dial with white strap
An Epson projector
A PS3 games console
A black camera bag containing three digital cameras
A Nikon Coolpix digital camera
A black Fujifilm digital camera
Purple Fujifilm digital cameras
A grey Kodak digital camera in a black case
A mini red Lazer Star projector
A white faced watch with gold rim and black strap
A grey Olympus digital camera
An Xbox 360
A PlayStation 2
PC Katy O’Connor said: “We’re keen to trace the rightful owners of all of the stolen property. There are photos on the cameras which include images of a family Christmas and others showing pictures of a pig farmer and pigs.
“We hope that we will be able to reunite the owners with their property so they can enjoy the photos and the family memories.”
