A sex slave, who was whipped and forced to sign a slave’s contract, was told to prove her loyalty to her dominator ‘master’ by sending him indecent photographs of young children.
Stacey Murray, aged 26, was so “brainwashed” by David Read, aged 48, that she sent him child abuse images as proof of her subservience to him.
Northampton Crown Court heard the pair, together with a third woman, embarked on an “alternative” relationship in 2010 after they met online. The two women became Read’s slaves, Northampton Crown Court was told, in a “submissive” relationship of “domination and masochism”.
Read researched the subject of sexual slavery, buying DVDs and books, and used home-made whips to “thrash” Murray if she disobeyed him.
The trio lived together in Ragsdale Walk, Thorplands, from late 2010 until spring 2011, when Murray left to return home to Doncaster.
When she asked to come back to Northampton, however, she had to prove herself once more and was told to sign a “slave’s contract”, giving Read “total control” over her.
She was then “tested to the extreme” when she was told to obtain indecent photographs of young children and send them to Murray.
The images were discovered when concerned friends checked her computer and found them, along with logs of conversations between her and Read, in which she referred to him as “master”.
Murray, now of South Yorkshire, was given an 18-month community order and Read, of Leicester, was given a three-year order, with supervision requirements after pleading guilty to charges relating to indecent images of children.
Both must sign the sex offender’s register for five years.
