A 15-year-old boy had his mobile phone stolen by two men as he made his way home from school in Northampton.

The teenager was walking though a subway between Donovan Court and Woodborough Gardens in Wakes Meadow, Northampton at about 4.45pm on Thursday, March 6 when the two men, who both had their faces covered, approached him.

After searching the boy, they took his phone.

Both men were white and between 19 and 20-years-old. One was muscular, about 6ft with blue eyes and a local accent. The second man was skinny and about 5ft 9in.

Officers investigating the case would particularly like to talk to a man who was walking his dog in the area at the time who chased after the two men following the robbery.

Witnesses, or anyone with information about this incident, can call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
