Residents warned of scam phone call from woman claiming to be from the police

Northamptonshire Police has received reports of two scam phone calls in the past few days.

On both occasions the caller has asked for personal information and said she would like to make an appointment for somebody to fit CCTV cameras or a fire alarm.

Officers investigating these incidents have advised people to be aware of such calls and never give out personal information to people who call them out of the blue.
