A convict who lured a female prison guard to his cell and then performed a lewd sex act on himself, is to be put on the sex offenders’ register for the next seven years.
Clint Randle, aged 21, appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he faced two charges of intentionally exposing his genitals to two prison guards.
The first offence happened on August 9, last year, at HMP Onley, on the Northamptonshire border near Rugby.
Magistrates heard how Randle began ringing the bell in the cell, repeatedly calling a prison officer to him.
When a female officer then returned to his cell she found him naked and performing a sex act.
Prosecuting, Julie Costello said the prison officer believed Randle knew she was the only officer on duty in the area and deliberately targeted her because she was a woman.
The following day, however, Randle was left red-faced when he tried the act again.
This time, however, a male prison officer responded to the ringing and again found him lying naked on his bed pleasuring himself.
He pleaded guilty to both offences.
Magistrates sentenced Randle, who was due for release in February, to a further two months in prison for both offences, to be served consecutively.
It means Randle, who must also sign the sex offenders register for the next seven years, will spend a further four months in prison.
