Police have named the motorcyclist who died after being struck by a pheasant on a road in Northamptonshire on Saturday.
Christopher Adams, aged 54, from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, was riding a black Kawasaki motorbike along the A6116 from Corby towards Thrapston on Saturday, October 12.
The collision, which happened at about 4pm, caused him to swerve into a lay-by and hit a kerb.
He was airlifted to University Hospital in Coventry with serious chest injuries, but later died.
Police are again appealing for witnesses and would particularly like to speak to the driver of a silver Seat Leon who stopped at the scene before police arrived.
The Seat is believed to be a 2002/04 model, driven by a white man who was approximately 6ft and wore jeans and a grey T-shirt.
Police believe he may have witnessed the collision and are urging him to contact them.
Witnesses or anyone with information can call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615 or Northamptonshire Police on 101.
