Masked men force their way into Co-op in Northamptonshire and try to steal cigarettes

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at the Co-operative food store, High Street, Brackley. The burglary happened on Tuesday, 15 July, between 4.10am and 4.20am. NNL-140729-095617001

CCTV image shows two men trying to steal cigarettes from a shop in Brackley.

After breaking into the Co-operative food store in High Street, Brackley the offenders attempted to get into the cigarette cabinet but were unsuccessful.

They left the shop and drove off in a black BMW 3 series car.

CCTV footage shows two offenders, both wearing black trousers and black hooded tops, with their faces covered. They were carrying a green, collapsible bag and one of the offenders was wearing white trainers.

The burglary happened on Tuesday July 15 between 4.10am and 4.20am.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
