Man robbed of his phone, glasses and e-cigarette in Northamptonshire street

A man was knocked to the ground and robbed of his mobile phone by three men after being verbally abused in Northamptonshire.

The incident happened just before 1am on Sunday, February 7, in Stamford Road, Kettering.

The victim was walking along Montagu Street when he noticed the men standing just inside Water Street.

The men approached him and threatened him verbally before standing in his way.

He managed to cross into Carey Street and continued up Stamford Road.

The offenders then followed him and knocked him to the ground before robbing him of his phone, glasses and e-cigarette.

They are all described as black and slim and wore black jackets with the hoods up and scarfs across their faces.

They were in their late teens to early 20s, with one offender about 6ft and the other two slightly shorter.
