A man appeared in court charged with stealing £57,000 of Lego from a lorry parked in Northamptonshire while the driver was asleep.
Andrew Mills, aged 27, of Colchester Road, London, pleaded not guilty to the offence at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The court heard Mills is accused of stealing the Lego belonging to Toys R Us from a lorry parked at the Watford Gap service station on the M1 on February 14, while the driver was asleep.
Mills was remanded in custody and will appear via video link at Northampton Magistrates’ Court in March, to set a date for trial at crown court.
