Man arrested on suspicion of robbery after incident at Omega House in Northampton

Police arrested a man on suspicion of robbery following an incident at Omega House in St Andrew’s Street, Northampton.

Officers were called to the block of flats on Tuesday morning and surrounded the outside of the building, as well as areas inside the block and the courtyard.

A police spokeswoman said: “A 29-year-old local 
man was arrested in connection with the incident on Tuesday at Omega House, 
St Andrews Road, Northampton.

“He is currently being held in custody for questioning,” the spokesman.

The police spokesman said late yesterday afternoon the man in custody had been arrested on suspicion of robbery but could give no further details.
