Former Co-op employee jailed for sexual assault

A former deputy manager of the Co-op in Wootton has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman.

Keyur Jani, 33, formerly of Roe Road, Abington, was accused of five sex assaults on two women, but was acquitted of four allegations.

The court heard he had fled to India, but was given a 14-month prison sentence in his absence.
