Drugs raids carried out at three properties in Brixworth

Officers forced entry to the three properties at the same time along with a team of workers from Daventry District Council.

Evidence of drug use and Class B drugs were found at two of the properties, resulting in the caution of one person for possession of Class B drugs and another person being issued with a cannabis warning. One of the raids took place in Ryngwell Close.

Sergeant Matt Moore, from the Daventry Rural Safer Community Team, said: “The use of drugs is not just an urban issue and can impact on rural village communities as much as large towns and cities.
