Illegal drugs and other property were seized during Northamptonshire Police’s latest Operation Guardian high-impact day.
The force has released further details of the raids carried out across the county on Tuesday, which were reported by the Chron yesterday.
Cannabis was found at properties in The Briars, Briar Hill; Eastfield Road, Duston and Archangel Square, Camp Hill while a number of cannabis plants and equipment were recovered from an address in Lower Ecton Lane, Great Billing.
Items of property were also recovered from a business in Abington Street, and inquiries into this and the Lower Ecton Lane raid are ongoing.
Finally, a drugs warrant was executed in Coverack Close, Delapre, but nothing was found.
More than 130 officers took part in the day and a total of 15 warrants were executed – six in Northampton, five in Kettering and four in Wellingborough.
A total of 11 people were arrested, seven of which were for burglary offences. Four were arrested in Northampton, three in Kettering and four in Wellingborough.
Other activity included an automated number plate recognition (ANPR) operation where officers carried out stop checks of vehicles, visits to scrap metal dealers and second hand dealers across the county to deliver warnings about stolen goods, and plain clothed patrols in hot spot locations for burglary and vehicle crime.
Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Blatchly said: “The day was a great success and we will continue to carry out enforcement activity as part of Operation Guardian, as well as prevention activity that is taking place daily to reduce burglary and vehicle crime.”
