A motorist was punched in the face and spat at during an argument over parking outside a food store in Northampton.
The 50-year-old was spat at as he tried to park outside of the Co-op in Semilong Road, Semilong, Northampton, on Friday, March 8.
He drove away and parked along a different part of the same road, but the same man followed him and punched him in the face several times.
The attack happened between 3.30pm and 4.10pm and caused cuts and severe swelling.
The attacker is white in his mid 20s, 5ft 6in and stocky.
He wore a blue hooded top with a lighter blue patch across the front.
