A 57-year-old man has died following a road crash in Northamptonshire last night, police have confirmed.
The fatal road traffic collision took place at around 10.10pm on the westbound A45, around 300 metres west of the Irchester turning.
A police spokesman said: “A black Vauxhall Corsa being driven by a 57-year-old man left the road and came to rest in the hedgerow. He was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak to anyone who may have any information or who witnessed this incident.
