Cat left with broken leg after air rifle attack in Northamptonshire

A cat has been seriously injured after being shot on a bridle path in Northamptonshire.

The pet was in Cotton End, Long Buckby, at the time of the attack, which police believe was carried out with an air rifle.

It was left with a small cut to his back and a broken leg.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the attack, which happened on Tuesday June 16, between 5pm and 11pm.
