Commuters should expect severe delays and congestion in Northampton

Motorists on their way to work can expect severe delays and traffic backlog in Northampton this morning.

Drivers can expect severe delays and congestion in Northampton this morning

AA Traffic News has reported delays of eleven minutes on Saxon Avenue, northbound, between the A508 Northampton Road and the A45 in Nene Valley Way.

Drivers are predicted to be driving at an average speed of 10mph.

Motorists can also expect delays of 7 minutes on the A45 towards Nene Valley Way, eastbound, between the A45 and the A5076 in Mere Way.

The traffic news site also shows there is slow traffic due to a stalled vehicle on the A45 in Nene Valley Way, westbound, between the A43 in Lumbertubs Way Interchange and the A5095 Nene Valley Way.

The vehicle requires a tyre change, the AA reports.
