Students from Kislingbury CE Primary School donned hard hats to visit a home development site.
Fourteen pupils looked around a show home at the Charles Church site in Sycamore Gardens and were given a tour of the site by manager Lee Tysoe.
Headteacher at the school, Janet Northing, said: “As a school we are very keen to build good links with the local community.
“The children were very excited about their visit and talked enthusiastically about the things they had seen on their return to school.”
Sales manager for Charles Church Midlands, Debbie Box, said: “It was a pleasure to have the children visit us on our development.
“They were a credit to the school – and I think we spotted a few budding site managers among them.
“We hope they found the visit interesting and that it will be a valuable addition to their usual day to day schooling.”
