Fairfields school visit Grosvenor Centre grotto

Children from Fairfields School received an early Christmas present when they met Santa at his grotto in the Grosvenor Centre.

A total of 20 youngsters from the school in Trinity Avenue, Northampton were given a complimentary tour of Father Christmas’ grotto and received a gift from him.

Russell Hall, centre manager, said: “We really wanted to do something special at the centre and, of course, meeting Santa is always one of the most exciting parts of Christmas for children.

“It was a pleasure to invite Fairfields pupils along to the grotto, and we really hope the children enjoyed their Christmas treat. We would like to wish all of our shoppers a merry Christmas and very happy New Year.”

Ben Barnett, teacher at Fairfields said: “We would like to thank the Grosvenor Centre for accommodating us and offering the children what was a very memorable and enriching experience.”
