Pat thanked for festive help

Pat Johnson was presented with a special plate by Abbey Centre Baptist Church, to commemorate her 25 years of serving Christmas Dinners at the centre on Christmas day.

A Northampton woman was recognised for serving Christmas dinners to the elderly for 25 years.

Pat Johnson was given a celebratory plate by the minister of Abbey Centre Baptist Church, Rev Gareth Shepherd, to mark her work at the Abbey Centre in East Hunsbury.

Pat and her husband, Malcolm, held the first event on Christmas Day in 1987 and each year now welcome around 60 guests.
