Northampton-based measurement and testing firm Horiba UK has taken on 13 new staff and is set to appoint four more new people, as part of plans to build the business.
The firm says it has tripled the sales of its Northampton operation in the last three years and is looking to grow further.
The company, which employs 170 people in the UK, has taken on new technical, sales and service staff at its Moulton Park base. The firm, which provides analytical and control equipment, is also looking to hire more people in the areas of ICT, human resources and secretarial.
New engineering service manager Matt Bryanton joins from BAE Systems, the global defence, security and aerospace company, where he was manufacturing group leader.
He said: “I hope that my experience in engineering project management and project development will help Horiba to continue to grow in the UK, and I am looking forward to the new challenge.”
Horiba is now looking to recruit more people in Northampton, including ICT assistant, HR assistant and software development/support engineer.
