Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 07:14 PMHi I would like to make a suggestion for an article in the Chron to feature a largely forgotten character from Northampton known as "Digger" Pugh. he was responsible for among many other things bringing stock car racing to Britain, but I don't need to convince you, just Google his name, you will be amazed!!! I'm sure an article would generate great interest locally. Regards Jon Shipley jonshipley08@googlemail.com

Monday, September 27, 2010 at 03:21 PMWe have just had parking restrictions imposed outside our house to help ease parking problems at school times unfortunately it has not really helped as the problem has just moved further down the road and is still causing traffic problems.

Monday, September 20, 2010 at 08:44 AMWhy was there any need to change a web site that worked, yes many more pictures but same news it seems most of the time , it needs headlines as before , worst is the very little change of pictures advertising, I wont be using it as much as before. BoB.

Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 09:16 AMSomeone posting as The Count has made a good point on another thread: why is it that it is not possible to post comments on certain articles? Especially when they relate to the borough or country council? A good example was this week's demonstration by COunty Council workers outside county hall and orchestrated by Unison and Unite, and given headline coverage on this site. That only 200 supposed employees out of a total of over 14,000 employed by the council turned up shows just how out of touch this very small minority is. Shame on the Chron for not allowing comment on it.
