Challenge for young people

Founder of fashion label Red or Dead, Wayne Hemingway visited The Fishmarket in Northampton town centre to launch a programme by training company Starting Off.

Mr Hemingway told the audience how he started by visiting Northamptonshire to buy rejected shoes, which he then sold at London's Camden Market in 1980.

As well as entertaining the apprentices with the story of how Red or Dead developed, he challenged young people to get involved in the town's issues to make Northampton a better place to live for future generations.

The event was organised by Starting Off, of Wood Hill, Northampton, to launch a training programme called Take Control.
