A photographic competition looking for images that best capture the county has been launched by Northamptonshire Community Foundation.

As part of its 15 year anniversary celebrations, the foundation has organised a photography competition for residents of Northamptonshire to send their photographs depicting what their county and local community means to them.

Through the competition the Community Foundation wants to showcase the amazing people, activities and places that are at the heart of Northamptonshire and simultaneously raise awareness of the importance of supporting and giving back to your local community.

Photography has become more accessible with the use of smart phones and tablets and this competition gives everyone the opportunity to send in their image.

Tell friends, family, colleagues to get involved. It doesn’t matter if your image is from the past or the present, as long as it is representative of how you feel about your community and reflects your experience of life in the county you live in.
