Commuters travelling into and out of Northamptonshire this morning have faced closed roads and cancelled trains caused by the storm which has battered parts of the UK.
While the county has not been as badly affected as other parts of the UK, both train operators are running restricted services.
There are delays on London Midland’s trains, while East Midland Trains is advising passengers not to travel while it checks its lines for fallen trees.
There have been reports of minor flooding across Northamptonshire, with the Bedford Road closed in both directions between the junction of Cheyne Walk and Barnes Meadow.
Winds have caused minor damage across the county. A tree is blocking Church Lane in Bugbrooke and section of boarding off Grafton Road in Northampton has collapsed onto the pavement.
