BREAKING NEWS: Drivers warned of severe delays on M1 near Northamptonshire after accident

Drivers have been warned of severe delays on the M1 this morning after a serious accident.

At 8.20am this morning, Bedfordshire Police issued the following statement.

“The M1 is currently closed in both directions between junctions 11 and 12 while emergency services deal with a road traffic incident.

“Police were called at 7.10am and are at the scene along with the ambulance service and the air ambulance.

“One person is believed to be in a serious condition,” the statement added.
