BREAKING NEWS: Divers recover items from Northampton lake in Liam Hunt murder investigation

Police divers have searched a Northampton lake as part of the Liam Hunt murder investigation, police revealed today.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "The Nottinghamshire dive team recovered several items during a two-day search of the lake at Delapre Abbey, Northampton.

"The items will now undergo forensic assessment," he added.

Six people have now appeared in court charged with Liam Hunt's murder.

Eighteen-year-old James Dodd, of Sentinel Road, Northampton, Aaron Connor Joseph, 20, of Hylands Road, Walthamstow, London, and four boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are all facing the same charge.

They are set to appear at Northampton Crown Court on May 19 for a plea hearing.

Detectives continue to appeal for anyone with any information into the death of Liam to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 111 555.
