Boy, nine, assaulted by passing adult in Northamptonshire town

A nine-year-boy was assaulted in Daventry, while standing outside with his dog.

The incident happened on Friday, August 7, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, in Kingsley Avenue.

A man walked past the boy on the pavement and the dog barked. The man turned around, swore and pushed the dog at the boy, causing him to fall backwards.

The man is described as white, with tanned skin, about 6ft, with a medium build and about 40-year-old. He had balding, black/grey hair and was wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans. He spoke with a Scottish accent.

The boy and the dog were unharmed.
