Sun and sand on Northampton Market Square
More than 200 children enjoyed sun, sand and sandcastles in the centre of Northampton, when the beach came to town.
For one day only, the south-west corner of the square became a giant sandpit, as part of the launch of Bold 2 in 1's new pomegranate and orange washing powder.
Children enjoyed ice lollies on the "beach" and took part in a sandcastle competition, judged by the Mayor Brian Markham.
The prize, won by five-year-old Ellie Greenfield, was a 100 home sandpit and a box of washing powder.
