A healthcare assistant at Northampton General Hospital is appealing for old pictures of Northampton to help decorate rooms used by elderly patients.

Areas used by elderly patients admitted to A&E before they go on to wards have been spruced up, but healthcare assistant Vanessa Turvey would like to brighten the areas up with some pictures showing the town in years gone by.

she said: “The rooms do look nice but we want some pictures for the walls. Just something that takes them back. It makes things a lot more comfortable.”

Anyone who has photographs, particularly large prints, which they would like to donate, can call Vanessa on 07955 331510 or email her at nessat1963@yahoo.co.uk
